During the time Dr. Nelson and Ralph received the patients [at Agua Fria] I went to San Vicente to buy some medicines and batteries we needed for our digital blood pressure device. Pablo, the guy who needed a ride to San Vicente, shared his story with me and I could share the gospel with him and encourage him. He was very happy and thankful after I dropped him off in the city.

Now imagine for a moment sitting at the doctor’s desk and sharing your need with him and all the people from your street sitting around and listening to what you have and what your needs are. We will see how we can generate some more privacy tomorrow as we receive the patients.

The folks even served a meal today to our team. That was very kind. The rice, salad and fish were delicious. Thank you Agua Fria, God bless you.

On our way back to Canoa, we met our new team member Dr. Coronel who was arriving from Quito to join us and to do a short trip to Chone and visit the Samaritan’s Purse Hospital. We met some friends we had seen in Haiti some years ago.

The wonderful story we heard. Many family members who came to receive help there, received the Lord and they will have a baptism tomorrow at the hospital and celebrate communion.
